Tucson Wins 2016 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Award

February 17, 2016–Hyundai Motor’s Tucson was awarded MotorWeek’s Drivers’ Choice Award for ‘Best Small Utility’ at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. MotorWeek, television’s longest-running automotive series, has presented the Drivers’ Choice Awards annually since 1983.

MotorWeek evaluated vehicles based on what consumers value the most: price, practicality, performance and fuel efficiency. MotorWeek’s editorial staff then selected the best models in a variety of lifestyle categories.

Tucson comes equipped with advanced safety features, including Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist, Backup Warning Sensors and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB). The vehicle also earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS’s) 2016 TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation.
